LeAnn Erickson, Producer/Director: Folk Songs

LeAnn Erickson is an independent video/filmmaker and university professor. She received her Masters of Fine Art degree from the University of Iowa. Her work has appeared on public television, in galleries, and has won national and international recognition in video/film festivals. She is a recipient of regional and national production grants for her work and, most recently, was awarded the 2006 Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowship for media arts.

Ariana Gerstein, Producer/Director: Images of Flying and Falling

Ariana Gerstein is an independent filmmaker and university professor. She received her Masters of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ariana’s film work includes experimental and documentary forms. Her solo works have been exhibited and won awards in the US and internationally and have been supported by grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, New York Foundation on The Arts, National Endowment for The Arts, and a Rockefeller Fellowship.

Sonja Lindén, Producer/Director: No Man is an Island

Sonja Lindén is an independent filmmaker based in Helsinki, Finland. She has studied producing and documentary film directing at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. No Man is an Island was her thesis film and has won many prizes at international film festivals. In addition to filmmaking, she also has a Master of Science degree in Economics and works as an independent producer.
